MOOREA, FRENCH POLYNESIA
SWIM WITH HUMPBACKS
Moorea is a stunning volcanic island, just 30min ferry off the coast of Tahiti (international airport PPT). French Polynesia is one of the few places in the world where you can swim with humpback whales. This retreat is for those who love and respect the ocean. You do not have to have any freediving knowledge, however you must be a strong swimmer and comfortable snorkeling in the deep blue as we will be swimming at least 100m to the whales.
Mo’orea has regulations in place to respect the whales, giving them time to rest when they arrive and before they leave. During our trips we will assess their behavior before getting in the water. We will let the whales determine our interaction, which is why we plan to spend most of our time on the water to ensure our chances of some amazing encounters.
We are fortunate enough to have landed a spacious sea front villa with pool next to our captains home. We will be departing right in front of our accommodation every day. Our captain has a workout area, pool and jacuzzi that we are all welcome to use on our off time. With 5 bedrooms we can accommodate everyone quite comfortably.
Fresh food served daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
We will use mostly local ingredients and serve healthy yet gourmet meals.
