Jewel of the Depth

from €140.00

About this artwork

Flamingo Tongue snails are small, colorful creatures known for their distinct, vibrant markings. They are often found grazing on the soft tissues of corals, a process that can be both beneficial and detrimental to coral health. On the one hand, it helps keep coral growth in check, but on the other, overfeeding can harm the coral. Their presence is a delicate indicator of reef health and biodiversity.

Shot in Utila, Honduras.
